Power Platform Apps Engineer
NOTE: This is a full-time employment opportunity (No C2C, subcontractor or 1099 engagements, please.) The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation. This is a remote opportunity, EDT/EST time zone work schedule.
Daily Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, update, and implement a Low/Code No Code solutions leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform (including but not limited to Power BI, Power Automate, PowerApps, SharePoint, Tableau).
Perform a wide range of complex mathematical and statistical analyses to develop data-driven insights to inform strategic and operational decisions.
Plans, coordinates, and executes studies that involve advanced data modeling techniques and procedures, data trend analysis and the development of mathematical data algorithms.
Design and develop custom business applications using Power Apps.
Experience with integrating Power Apps with various Data Sources and Services.
Implement best practices for app design and usability.
Integrate Power Automate flows with Power Apps and Power BI for seamless business operations.
Experience with analysis software (e.g., R Studio, Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft’s Power Platform), coding languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala), database structures, and queries using Structured Query Language (SQL).
Perform statistical and quantitative analysis utilizing specially developed software models or procedures and interfaces via computer with data elements, data warehouses, and datamarts.
Develop SOPs, desk guides, and other required working documents.
Assess impact of new or modified requests/requirements from client programs.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as mandated by our government client.
Must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.
5+ years of experience primarily with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI) and SharePoint.
Proficiency in a minimum of one modern programming language (e.g. C#, C++, JSON, Python, JavaScript, Scala, etc.).
Experience as the primary party responsible for hands-on work and policy regarding data security and access controls in SharePoint.
Experience developing, integrating, and deploying custom PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI solutions.
Understanding of the creation and configuration of PowerApps and their limitations.
Understanding of data modeling, data visualization design, relational databases, data security concepts, and SQL.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.
Power Pages experience is a PLUS
Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The annual salary range for this position is $90,481-$121,165.
