System Engineer IV (U.S. Citizen)
NOTE: This position is for our forthcoming (expected March/April 2025) long-term federal project in San Antonio TX. The position requires candidate to be on-site. Please review the requirements carefully.
Daily Responsibilities
- Design, test, upgrade and integrate new or existing infrastructure platforms in accordance to the organization’s business requirements.
- Document all aspects of the engineering process as it relates to build and configuration, testing, and deployment of infrastructure platforms.
- Coordinate changes such as implementation of new infrastructure platforms, upgrades or version increments to existing platforms with system administrators and stakeholders.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard infrastructure platforms.
- Perform infrastructure platform modeling, analysis, and planning.
- Perform architecture and evaluate new and emerging infrastructure platform technologies and make recommendations for selection of these products.
- Monitor system administrators with complex troubleshooting issues and coordinate vendor engagements to assist in troubleshooting efforts.
- Provide day-to-day operational or administrative duties for deployed infrastructure platforms in lab or production environments.
- Centralize mobile device management and maintenance, combining security and management solutions for devices, applications, data, and content by:
- Enabling IT to track and manage wireless devices
- Improving security, integration, and mobile application adoption
- Securely managing mobile devices and platforms
- Increasing access to data, applications, and services
Requirements
- Must of a U.S. Citizen (no dual status), as mandated by the government client.
- Must be local to the San Antonio TX area and be on-site daily (no convenience travel).
- Must have at a minimum an active public trust investigation, and able to obtain and hold a secret clearance.
- Must have a CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Must have a CompTIA Network+ certification.
- Must be a Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA).
- Must be a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
- 15+ years of architecture, deployment, and managing enterprise Windows Server and Virtualization solutions.
- Technical training and experience in Citrix, VMware, PowerShell, Microsoft Azure, DISA, ACAS. McAfee, and Dell Storage.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree.
